Well, here's another team made by yours truly. Before I start, I've noticed I always tend to stray from the point when explaining my team. So I'll try to be as direct as possible this time. Ok, enough said. Here's a overview of my team.

Gengar (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Substitute
Gengar, though the shift to Platinum has shafted down one of Gengar's most valuable assets; Hypnosis, it's still a great lead regardless. Against other leads it's main role is to sleep a pokemon, set up a Substitute and hand out damage on a silver platter. If it encounters a "suicidal" lead, I would switch out and save Gengar for later.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP/16 SAtk/240 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
Heatran is literally a staple on all teams thanks to Skymin and Scizor usage having skyrocketed up the roof. Heatran's main role is to absorb status and deal damage while having absorbed said status. Lava Plume for Stab and the 30% Burn rate and Earth Power for other Heatran switch ins.
---

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/252 Def/16 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
Swampert, although rarely seen anymore, it serves as a huge role in my team. My sole Physical wall on this team, it comes in and sets up Stealth Rock and stops the main OU threats. (ex. Lucario, Salamence, Heatran) Originally RestalkCursePert was here, but it was walled easily by Vaporeon and Reflect, which caused me to make the shift to MixPert.
---

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 156 HP/252 Atk/100 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Superpower
It quickly came into OU after getting Bullet Punch in Platinum. Scizor serves as my main sweeper dealing with a variety of pokemon overall. With the EV Spread listed above, it outspeeds minimum speed Heatran and should OHKO with Superpower. Superpower also deals with Skarmory and Bronzong. X-Scissor over U-Turn for lasting power and Bullet Punch for finishing off weakened pokemon. This also serves as my Skymin counter being able to come into Seed Flares and being able to relatively finish off Skymin with Bullet Punch provided it has around 70% HP or less.
---

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/36 Def/220 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Roost
- Toxic
Zapdos went through a major change. Hidden Power [Ice] dropped for HP Grass and Sleep Talk dropped for Toxic, which helps me deal with Mamoswine, Hippowdon and what not. Now the debate is whether I should use Heat Wave over HP Grass or not.
---

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/16 Atk/240 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Curse
- Crunch
Tyrantiar, has nearly been on all my teams. It always was used as a lead and saw little to no action till late game where it was used as sacrificial bait to allow my other pokemon (namely Garchomp) to set up. However, with the banning of Garchomp, and the rise of Skymin, it was time for Tyranitar to stand on it's own feet and fend for itself for once. With 252 HP/252 SpDef and the 1.5x Sandstorm Boost, Tyranitar will always survive Skymin's Seed Flare attack provided it has at least 75% HP. Modeled after RestalkCursePert it does it's job as a mid to late game clean up quite well. Crunch was chosen over Payback for the defense drop which can serve as very useful late game.
---
Well this is my team, I'm not too worried about Skymin as this team was made in mind to stop Skymin, and Scizor is stopped by Gengar/Zapdos/Swampert respectively. Thanks for reading. >_>
Edit: Updated Zapdos and TTar sets.
