RulesThese site rules not only apply to the forum, but everywhere else within the Libelldra Forge, including but not limited to user profiles, signatures, avatars, and chat room.
Moderation Feedback SystemThis system allows you to contest to a moderator if you believe that your post was deleted unfairly. This may only be used if the moderation resulted in various consequences -- such as a warning, suspension, or other. If this is the case, a Moderator will PM you with a copy of your original post and explain why it was deleted/the consequences occurred. You then have the chance to explain your case to the moderator in a reply. If the moderator agrees with your case, the punishment will be revoked, but the original post will still have been deleted. However, there can be further consequences if this privilege is used incorrectly. Depending on the misuse of this system, you will receive another warning, post revoking, or suspension. The actions of others are NEVER an excuse when it comes to flaming, spamming, trolling, and other, more severe moderations. Saying "X user did it, so I can!" is not an excuse. Likewise, saying "He did it before, and he didn't get any punishment!" will not be accepted. Our Warning SystemThe warning system is designed to allow posters to "quit while they're ahead", so to speak. The warning system is cumulative. When a post is made that a moderator deems severe enough for a warning, the poster will be warned level 1. It is possible that a severe enough post will be given a level 2 warning. When you receive any form of warning, this will remain for 14 days, unless you receive another warning in that time. After the 14 days of clean posting history, the warning will be removed. Once a user has received a level 3 warning, this will remain for 30 days unless another severe post is made during that time. After the 30th day of a clean posting history, the warning will be removed. If a poster's warning level exceeds level 3, more severe action is taken, including but not limited to revoked posting privileges, suspension, and ban. Severe PunishmentsThe following consequences can result after a user has exceeded a level 3 warning: The consequence chosen depends on the severity of the action, the user's past history, and most importantly, the lenience of the moderator. The following consequences can result into either one of the following:
If a post(s) is/are severe enough to warrant a ban, the user will first be suspended and have the chance to contest. If the contestation is overturned by the moderator, or if 24 hours has passed and the user has not contested, the user will be banned. A Final NoteAny questions regarding anything that has been said here, or questions about something you think is missing can be asked via PM's, which you can send to either Ruesap or Fantasty. |
